The days are long, but the years are short - Charlie's First Birthday

A year ago today I'd been sitting in a hospital room for just shy of 48 hours.

 A year ago today I was clicking that blessed epidural button like it was goin outta style. 

A year ago today I was praying our little dude would turn over so the back labor would subside.

 A year ago today they wheeled me into the OR to get him out since he didn't want to come on his own.

 A year ago today I waited anxiously as the doctors tugged and pulled on the other side of the sheet.

 And a year ago today I heard someone yell out 'TIME!?' and another person answer back '11:03!'. 

I knew I would never ever forget that time.

 At 11:03 my world changed for the better.

 Happy Birthday sweet boy.
